The creation of an appropriate environment is an essential part of the holistic concept of care. Therefore, the selection of the site for Hill House Hospice was of primary importance. Located in the heart of Richmond Hill, the home is well-situated to meet the needs of the broader York Region community.
Hill House is set on approximately one acre of land. In addition to beautiful grounds, the house includes three bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen and a large living room with a fireplace. The House can accommodate up to three residents at a time.
Hill House has many areas where family members and friends can have privacy, meditate or just take time for reflection. Hill House is a home in every sense of the word - filled with laughter, tears and memories.
At Hill House Hospice we take great pride in community involvement. We would like to thank our partners — the many people and organizations that have contributed to our facility:
Everyday we are blown away by the incredible support we receive from our beautiful community.
We are so fortunate to be a part of so many generous and caring groups, businesses, families, and individuals. Thank you for always supporting us. We will always be more than happy to return the support!
Hill House is still accepting new volunteers during COVID, although some aspects of the position have been cancelled or modified. Contact Sue Massey for up to date information on how and what you can do to help support our home.
